So, Ive been MIA for a little while and its mainly because I really haven't been up to much. I'm desperately trying to be better about money which in turn means im not really not going out much or making many purchases which means there's been little to blog about. As a treat for being so patient with my irregular posts I filmed my nail polish collection the other night to share with you all. I had to do filming with my iphone so I really had to try making this somewhat quick, Id also mention that if you see a color you like, google the polish in google images to get a wider perspective on the color as a swatch. Seche Vite Restore (Seche Vite Thinner/Nail Polish Thinner)

From left to right: Essie first base (base coat), Essie matte about you (matte top coat, OPI Nail Envy (Nail strengthener/base coat), Essie good to go (top coat), OPI Top Coat (top coat), CND Stickey (base coat), OPI Natural Nail (base coat), Seche Vite (top coat).

Q: Preffered Top and Base coat?
A: CND Stickey for base, Seche Vite or Essie good to go for top coat.

Q: Does nail polish go bad?
A: No, nail polish DOES NOT go bad! This is a myth, nail polish may thicken over time but there are numerous nail polish thinners on the market. I prefer Seche Vite restore because you can also safely use it on you Seche Vite top coat to thin it out.

Too Faced "Naked Eye" Pallet

Today I will be sharing a review on an addition to my collection of pallets I have fallen head over heals for and find to be completely swoon worthy. Too faced has a broad range of cosmetics but I have found myself completely obsessed with their eyeshadow pallets. As the owner of the "Natural Eye" pallet I thought it appropriate to stash another pallet to the collection and to share this amazing product with my readers! What makes this product so great you may ask? What makes these pallets so great is the smooth application and great pigmentation these duos leave on your lids. with or without primer you sure to get a professional looking eye with the specially picked coordinated shades and style cards. Three shades were selected to blend and work together in harmony while the three insert cards tell you exactly where and how to apply these gorgeous shades. Each pallet offers three looks, Day, Classic, and Fashion. Each look becomes more dramatic as you move down the pallet which is suitable for every occasion. The naked eye is somewhat similar to the natural eye pallet but the naked eye offers somewhat more dramatic effects in my opinion. These pallets make an excellent edition to the beginner or the advanced in makeup. I hope to acquire more of these pallets but for the every day eye this pallete is absolute perfection.

Friday I celebrated my 23rd birthday, it was a close affair with just my best friend and fiance Andrew. I worked early morning and thanks to my frisky cats, little sleep was to be had. Any fellow cat owner can share my pain of a wild cat running around in the wee hours of the morning singing and meowing like a frantic cat looking for attention. Anyway, at around 7:00pm we headed to none other than the Cheescake Factory. Tried a new pasta dish which claims to be their most popular, I believe it was their cajun jambalaya. It was ok, but nothing I would order again. I opted to not include the shrimp as I do not eat any sea creatures lol I also tried a pineapple mojito which turned out not to impress, none the less it wasn't terrible.

On the way back to the car I lost an earring and this is my silly attempt at trying to find it >.<

Afterwards we headed back to our apartment to devour the ice cream cake we ordered from dairy queen. When I was younger I only wanted ice cream cakes from dairy queen and for whatever reason I really wanted one this year as well, I guess old habbits never die.

Just me, murdering the pink snow man O_o

And then...regretting the crime...

But then luckily my fellow snowman murderer stepped in and "finished the job" ^_~

And what kind of mother would I be if I didn't let the kitties get a little whip cream?

All in all it was a good birthday, Its strange getting older though, I still sometimes wish I could go back in time and have slumber parties with all of my friends. I suppose in order to achieve new things in your life you have to let go of some of the older pleasantries of being a child. Bitter sweet really, but I am able to accept them and move onto other amazing things in my life and that's what counts.

Hello everyone! As im sure most of you know ive recently had a huge change in my life and will be starting a new chapter in life with my now fiance Andrew! Andrew after almost 5 years proposed to me in front of the sleeping beauty castle in Disneyland last Friday. Ive had a ton of questions about the proposal and will be answering some of those questions at the end of this blog. For starters ill run you through my day on Friday which will include a ton of photos so please allow your browser some time to download them all for viewing! Friday morning I woke up to the shock that my favorite Japanese store Shibuyas Closet would be closing its retail store and reopening a new one 2013. Because of this the store was having steep discounts I found too difficult to pass up. I raced to get ready while having andrew plan out in the background our night which included dinner with friends and Disneyland. I scoured a huge haul from shibuyas and grabbed a ton of swag Ive been wanting for months for a complete steal. I will be posting a separate blog including all of my purchases after I make one last visit tomorrow for a little more shopping. After my mini shopping spree we headed to the cheesecake factory to enjoy dinner with some friends but not before we stopped and surprised my best friend Christina at her work, Benefit Cosmetics. I always love poking around friends work to see them in action, its such a fun new point of view seeing them do their thing. Christina (whome I call Stina for short) was so cute and as usual looked amazing.

Afterwards we headed to the cheescake factory for some delicious drinks and my favorite dish, chipotle chicken pasta YUM! Annette and her friend Shy joined us and it all made for a good time!

Upon leaving dinner it was already about 9:00pm so I was hesitant to even go to Disneyland until Andrew talked me into it. The plan was to meet our friend Steve and two of his friends there for a few rides and what not. Now this is where everyone wonders if I suspected anything and to tell you the truth no, I didnt. However, every year a little part of me thinks it will happen when we stand in front of the lit castle, Andrew knew that was my absolute dream place for having it happen. While on the way to a ride with our friends I pulled Andrew aside to take some quick snaps of the castle lights. After taking the photos and nothing happened I knew a proposal was all in my head and carried on to the next location.

By the time we finished our third ride the park was closing and we wanted to get a few quick photos in front of the castle and Christmas tree at the front of the park. We headed over to the left side of the castle took a few photos when Andrew turned to me shaking and whispering how nervous he was. At this point I was really confused I didn't really process what was going on until he started telling me how much he loved me and that he was sorry for making me wait so long. Once again I was confused and shocked until he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I don't remember putting the ring on my finger all I remember is crying and holding him telling him how happy I was. It was such a surreal moment, something Ive never felt before. It felt like a dream and so unreal for those brief seconds. I soon learned that the proposal was intended to happen on my 23rd birthday which would have been Dec. 7th. After Andrew saw the opportunity to have our good friend take photos of the moment he opted to do it even sooner. The night was magical, perfect and indescribable. I knew that Andrew was going to be the one I married I just had no idea when that day would come or how this moment would occur. Since that night Ive had nothing but love and support by everyone I know. I know Ive found the person Im going to spend forever with and its such an amazing beginning to something even better.

The ring was exactly was I would have picked out myself! Ive never liked rings with a lot going on and the more simple the more elegant in my eyes. Andrew and his mom did and excellent job at finding something that truly spoke to me. As far as wedding details there aren't a whole lot. The wedding wont be for at least a year from now and as of right now spring 2013 is what we have our eyes on. As progress on details go, ill make to keep you updated. Thank you again for all of the love and support from everyone who has been kind enough to send it. This is such a happy time for us both and we are so appreciative!

Aldo hand bag haul.

As promised I gather all of my recent Aldo bags ive acquired unusually quick. I'm such an impulse buyer but can you blame me? Being surrounded by cuteness and sparkling glimmer really breaks a girl down. Whats great about these bags is that they were all reasonably priced (even more so with my discount) because of this you get a high quality look that is fully accessible to all sorts of price ranges. In this specific group purses ranged from $35 up to $55 all appear to have fantastic durability and quality for these great prices.

This nordic sweater print bag caught my eye at first glance with its cute winter pattern and adorable yarn pom poms practically begging for me to take it home. I have an obsession with pom poms so anything with them attached has already earned a spot in my closet as far as that that goes. This bag also has a long strap if the handles do not strike your fancy or for a more convenient all day wear. The space in this bag is amazing, I was able to fit all of my belongings as well as a couple water bottles and lunch for work.

This furry little friend of mine deserves a name because I feel likeI have a teddy bear attached to my hip when I wear it. Something about this bag reminded me right away of Japanese gyaru style with its creamy beige fur and its rich camel faux leather trim. The space on this bag is amazing and the middle organizer allows for neat organization too! Admittedly this is a bulky bag and I was regretting my decision to bring it to Disneyland a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't suggest this for long time wear, but that's solely my opinion of course ;)

This is the bag I am currently sporting. What first attracted me was the square style of this bag that I found to be so unique. The chubby little tail was just the icing on the cake which really sealed the deal with me. apparently im a sucker for cute adornment and majority of the time, this is what steers my decision in a bag purchase. The only down side to this bag is the issue with space. I am one of those girls you see with the giant bag with her whole life practically inside. Ive had to downsize with this bag which includes nixing my usual water bottle, cosmetic case and other random necessities. It hasn't been a huge struggle and is really perfect for all day wear.

Last but certainly not least is this cute little purse that I just picked up the other day. Our store received only three of these cute little bags and with two already snatched up I felt compelled to make this one mine. Almost losing this to a customer during my shift I stopped what I was doing right away to make this rightfully mine, and you have no idea how happy I was to do so! While this may not be a typical winter bag I thought this was amazing for summer. This bag really feels like a channel/liz lisa hybrid and really stood out against all of its competitors in the store. This is a tiny bag, something I really wouldn't store more than a phone, lipstick and a few credit cards. This will be perfect for all of those summer outings I typically have.

New blog and a mini Aldo haul!

Hello all of my new and old visitors! I want to welcome you all to my new fashion, beauty and review blog! Previously I was running a small youtube account for my reviews and really wanted to branch out into something I could call home. Somewhere I was free to think and share the things I love with alike minds around the world. With this in mind and sight this blog was born! I will be sharing recent purchases, outfits, personal life, reviews on a variety of items from all around the world. So sit tight and enjoy the ride as I take you through a world all my own!

As a kick start to this blog I will be sharing with you a variety of accessory purchases I recently acquired while being newly hired at the Aldo Accessory store. Being the guilty shopaholic I am I rummaged through the store for a few special items that are very suiting for the look I am going for during these cold days of winter. Being drawn to feathers naturally they seem to be the theme of majority of my purchases, with a few vintage inspired pieces with the look of patina and old world charm.

Items in the selection range anywhere between $5 to $18. I would have to say the quality really depends on the item. Items are comparable to those of Forever 21 and all the way up to department store quality. Just make sure to inspect each item before purchasing with earrings being well looked over as these are non returnable (for hygienic reasons). I also purchased a few lovely purses that are very true to the winter season and these will be shared on here very shortly. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchases and think they'll make great accents to this winters outfits as well as a few conversation starters.
